Partes da Terra / Ground Parts is a surface-based installation of film and sculpture that draws connections between the utilitarian surfaces of PADA studios and the industrial detritus that inhabits the surrounding Baía Do Tejo industrial park.
It is an investigation and response to civic archival material and its multiple meanings and potential contexts. My time in residence at PADA has allowed me to apply archival investigations to new mediums such as film and floor-based sculpture.
